These quills have been cast over a midnight swirl base resin, laid to rest on the surface then domed over with a thick layer of clear coat creating a magnifying effect. Our property in Maine provides excellent porcupine habitat including year-round dens. These variably-sized smaller quills are from the hind leg of a large male porcupine.
